Job: Towns & Cities Team Research Intern

Ashden is looking for a highly motivated person with a passion for climate action and excellent desk research and writing skills to join the Towns & Cities team. A degree isn’t essential for this role – what we’re looking for is evidence of your passion for environmental issues, your ability to gather data through research and of your flair for writing.  

 

This is a six-month fixed term contract full time, from September 2021 – February 2022. 

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.30 to 5.30 full time  

Salary: London Living Wage (£10.85 per hour) for 35 hours per week. £19,747 if based on a 35 hour week

Location: Our office is in central London but we are flexible about location. You may want to work in the office or prefer to be based at home or a mixture of the two.  If you work from a location other than our office you will need a good broadband connection to be able to participate in regular online meetings.  

Closing Date: Sunday 15 August, 6pm

Selection Process  

All candidates will receive an update regarding their application after the closing date. Further details will be provided to shortlisted candidates when invited to interview, but we plan to hold the interviews virtually via Zoom or Teams. The option to attend interviews at our offices in Victoria in Central London is available subject to pandemic restrictions at that time.  

Candidates must have the existing right to work in the UK. We ask all candidates to bring proof of their right to work to their interview.
